Michael Aloia Sensei has taken his love of the arts, aikido and fine art, and combined them. A graduate of Kutztown University, BFA, Sensei’s artwork is featured on several internet sites including Bujin Designs and Eastern Martial Arts. Sensei’s work also hangs in Philadelphia area schools such as the Doshinkan Dojo, Seishikan Dojo and DSMA Dojang and has been given as a personal gift to Yukio Utada Kancho, John Stevens Sensei, Kirisawa Naoki Sensei, Master Tae Jung, Master Rob Benedetto and Master Dan Piller among others.
Aloia Sensei’s work also appears in his book How Aikido Can Change the World.

These are but a few of the many drawings Sensei has rendered, capturing the spirit and flow of aikido.
