As part of a student’s aikido training and advancement, students are required to assist in kohai instruction. Mudansha is anyone below the rank of shodan (first black belt). This time spent instructing offers the student the opportunity to build a stronger foundation while gaining the experience and confidence needed to conduct regular classes. |
